Arlington Photography

Arlington Texas is the third largest community in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and located only about 20 miles West of downtown Dallas. Arlington is home to many large companies and entertainment venues such as the AT&T Stadium, Six Flags Over Texas, and the Globe Life Park.

With all of its great landmarks, Arlington makes an ideal location for photography sessions. Whether it is portraits, wedding photos, or commercial photos you are wanting, Arlington has you covered.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is quite large, and it can be challenging to find quality photographers in your area. So, our website offers the ability to search for photographers by City as well as by category.

For example, if you need a wedding photographer in Arlington, you can either click on Arlington and see all the photographers available in the area, or click wedding, then narrow your search down by only those located in Arlington.

Location Suggestions

If you are looking to have a photo shoot in the Arlington area, some locations we recommend considering are:

Veterans Park offers a variety of scenic locations, suitable for photographs.  It consists of 103 acres of equestrian trails, pavilions, statues and memorials, gardens, hiking trails, playgrounds and a stage. The park is open 5am-midnight, 7 days a week, so you have multiple options for when to take your photos.

Howell family farm has been the location of many weddings, parties, and even film production. The site offers large fields, an updated barn, a farmhouse, gardens, and even livestock. This location would be great for anyone looking for a western our country themed shoot.

River Legacy Park is a 1,300-acre park located in Northern Arlington. Much like Veterans Park, River Legacy Parks offers varied landscapes for photographs. The park follows the Trinity River and provides features such as canoes, a pedestrian bridge, and hiking trails through the woods.

College campuses make great photography locations because they are usually well landscaped, often have historic buildings, and frequently feature sculptures and artwork installations. The University of Texas Arlington is no exception. Some of the buildings on the Arlington campus date back to 1919.

The last suggested location may seem like a usual location to recommend, but there is actually a little-known park hidden between the Franciscan Apartments and the office building. This little park is usually not very busy and offers tall trees, a water feature, and a field.

An experienced photographer will also have locations in mind if you are having a hard time deciding. Arlington is so full of great places, and we know you will find the one perfect for your shoot.

If you have a specific type of photography in mind, such as wedding photography, you can also search our website for photographers that specialize in certain areas. We make it quick and simple to find the best photographers in Arlington.
